Casting
At Centrum Pæle A/S, casting is an automated process.
We have two casting halls with each one casting machine. Centrum Pæle A/S has designed the machines, specifically for production of self-compacting concrete. Self-compacting concrete does not require vibration after casting.
The advantage is that environmental impacts, such as noise emission affecting employees and neighbours, are reduced to a minimum. When the casting process has been completed, lifting hooks are fitted into the wet concrete, and the piles are covered to ensure quick curing. The lifting hooks are used during the demoulding process, handling in the pile storage area and transportation around the building site.
